Haas Apartments

My friends came away very disappointed. The apartment looked much better in the photos than it did in person, and the amount they were charged on site was nowhere near the Booking price: €87 online, then €110 there. They also couldn't pay automatically through Booking or by card, so the price was set directly at the property.

The owner was quick to reply and very helpful, and the first-floor place with its balcony and separate kitchen was better than I expected. It made a great base for our Christmas visit to Brno. The only nuisance was the awkward coded key box, which I ended up helping other guests open. I'd still stay here again. ☺️

Three days before our concert weekend, the booking we'd made six months earlier at a good price was cancelled. While searching for somewhere else, we saw this same apartment listed again for that weekend, now for 2,000 more, and less than an hour later it was marked sold out. It's a disgusting way to handle things. Check whether there's an event nearby before booking, so this doesn't happen to you.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It's a little away from the center, but close to the main roads, so getting around by car was easy and we didn't have to drive through the city. The owner was also very pleasant to deal with and communicated really well.
