We’re here for the third time and have been happy with each stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the saunas are great. Breakfast has plenty of choice, and this time they even put out paper bags so guests could take a small snack along, which was a lovely touch. Dinner is a buffet too, and both meals deserve 12/10 for the food. Just remember drinks, even water, cost extra with dinner. One minor nuisance: some mornings, using the ice-cold water bucket in the sauna area, we noticed an unpleasant smell from the shower drains.

The noise made it a really poor stay. Cleaning staff were banging around so much in the morning that they woke me up, and sleeping late was impossible. I was sound asleep when a cleaner came into my room, which felt like a violation of my privacy. It might be okay for people with kids, but I wouldn’t recommend it to couples or anyone traveling for business.

The kids’ club was nice and the staff were very friendly, but I wouldn’t return. The hotel looks much better in its photos than in real life, and I wish I’d known what it was actually like before choosing it. The entrance, reception and parking all seem quite old, and the spa area is small. Breakfast was disappointing: dry, clumpy scrambled eggs, undercooked bacon and very poor desserts. The à la carte restaurant was no better, with most dishes oversalted, undercooked meat and fries that were clearly from a store-bought bag. It wasn’t the quality I was looking for.

Set beside a scenic lake on the outskirts of Brno, this is a lovely, comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly, and there’s a good pool and wellness area.

The hotel is great, with a very welcoming, friendly team and an amazing wellness spa with lots of ways to relax. There’s also a nearby park that’s especially lovely in autumn, with beautiful colors to see on a walk. Kids have plenty of places to play there too.
