There was street parking if you could find a space, and wheelchair access was a plus. But I’d only recommend this room for an overnight stay, not a longer vacation. It had a fridge and stove but no kitchen equipment, so without bringing your own, you couldn’t even make coffee. There was no TV, and charging my phone was a problem too, since I had to put it on a chair in the hallway. Maybe the other rooms are better, but ours was lacking.

My girlfriend and I needed a place to sleep for 2 nights, and we were absolutely delighted with the Derivia hotel. It’s not luxury or anything like that, but it’s really good for the price. The rooms were clean and nice, the location was quiet with no city noise, and the staff were helpful and friendly and happy to accommodate us. I recommend giving it a try.

The guesthouse is quiet and clean, with great staff, and you can walk straight out of the rooms. It’s suitable for couples. One room has a jacuzzi and another has a comfortable bathtub. I like coming back here, and the location worked well for us: there’s a Vietnamese shop right next door, a short walk from Cejl and about 4 stops to the center. We had no problems with the residents nearby. There is a shack a short walk from the hotel. A few things bothered me, though. The jacuzzi room has a carpet, but its shower was unusable because water went everywhere. The other room had no carpet and was cold. And when my girlfriend and I wanted a bath, there was no hot water, so we waited about twenty minutes for it to heat up.

The bathroom was lovely, and the room looked luxurious in the photos, though I’m not sure I was actually given that room. Breakfast was limited; the coffee was excellent, but a more personal approach might suit a place this size better. Parking is on the street, and the lights stay on all night, making it feel like daytime.
