A-Sport Hotel

We had a really good stay at this affordable hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the restaurant team, who gave great advice and spoke perfect English. It’s not a place to expect luxury, but we had a truly great experience. 🙂

Breakfast was tasty, and the hotel was good value for money. The room had just what we needed for an overnight stay, though you’ll need to figure out how to unlock it with the key. It’s in Brno, in a short gated street. You park in the large lot in front of the gate, by the ice rink.

Good value for a budget hotel, and the receptionist was very nice. There’s free parking on site, the hotel is right next to the sport centre, and they serve lunches too. I hope I can check out the sport centre next time. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, but the service was a letdown. I arrived at 10:03 after reaching the hotel at 2 am, and the waitress glared at me and pointed to her watch. I don’t speak Czech and she didn’t speak much English. She went into the kitchen and later came back with a plate of nice food, banging it down in front of me with an angry expression. I’d already travelled 1900 kilometers and was tired, but I made it to breakfast. Don’t judge the book by its cover.

The area is quiet, with no night noise, and the tram stop is close enough to get to the city center in under 15 minutes. Breakfast is included, fresh and tasty, with a buffet so you can pick what you like. In the evening, there’s a bar with well priced beer and other alcohol, and you can also get lunch or dinner at the hotel Restaurant. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, clean and neat. Towels and toiletries are provided, and the cleaning staff can tidy the room daily or every other day if you prefer. This is great value for money for a budget trip, and I was so happy with my stay that I’ll recommend it to everyone.
