Hostel John Galt

The beds were comfy and clean, the kitchen had lots of things to use, and the people were so nice and respectful. It's a really quiet, chill and comfortable place, and the staff are super sweet. Check-in is usually at 2 pm, but I arrived at 11 and everything was already ready. It's also about two minutes from the main bus and train station. Honestly the best hostel experience I've had. I'll definitely come back! ❤️ Thank you 😊

We had a great stay for the price, quality and location. The owner was really friendly and suggested some good places to see in Brno. It's a cozy spot in the city center, near the main train and bus stations, and the rooms were clean and comfortable enough. 🙂👍

I stayed at Hostel John Galt for quite a while for work, and honestly wish it were my flat :D It's huge, with one or two single or double rooms with a big bed for two, plus rooms for eight and four people. The kitchen is better equipped than my friends' house, so you can cook nearly anything, and there's free coffee and tea. The common area is cozy, well lit and mostly quiet. Everything was clean, and with my dust allergy I never had a problem. The owner is a friendly, sensible and helpful man. Beds are really comfortable, with curtains, your own shelves and a lockbox, and the rooms are well ventilated. Bathrooms are very clean and plentiful, and I never had trouble getting hot water. The toilets are a bit small, though I think that's just how it is in Czech Republic. Finding the hostel was easy, it's close to everything, and the internet connection was great for working.
