Restaurace Stará Lípa

The burger called "Double trouble" wasn't really double, more like half a patty, and it cost well above average. The soup had a fly in it. Even after we pointed it out, we had to ask for the soup to be taken off the bill. A pretty bad restaurant experience, and I won't be back.

The hotel is lovely and the quality for the price is fine. The staff are amazing, and the restaurant is on another level. Loved the food, especially the steak and chocolate fondant. Just amazing.

We made a little detour because we needed somewhere that accepted credit cards, and it was well worth the trip. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. They didn't have the dish we wanted on the menu at the time, yet went out of their way to get it for us. We really appreciated that unexpected effort. The beer was served just the way it should be in Czechia.

I went with my girlfriend a few days ago, and left feeling really sad about the time we spent there. Communication was very poor, nobody spoke English, and the menu was only in Czech. The service wasn't great, especially toward us. I saw them treat Czech customers better than my girlfriend and me. The food also wasn't what we expected. After reading the comments about this restaurant, I was especially disappointed. I'd tell people to eat somewhere else, where they can save money and probably get better food and better treatment.
