The place is spotless, the location is hard to beat, and the automated check-in with codes and keypads feels sleek and modern. My room was clean and great, right in the heart of everything. But the stay was a mixed bag, and the payment setup made it more exciting than it needed to be. My booking said "pay at the property," but there was nobody there to take payment, just me and my phone. I couldn't pay on arrival or when leaving, and there wasn't an option in the app. I was genuinely trying to pay, but the system wouldn't let me. Then the manager called, upset that I hadn't paid. I tried to explain the catch-22, but she kept talking over me and was sure it was my fault. It was a frustrating back-and-forth before she understood what was happening. Once she'd checked with Booking.com, she just needed my email to send an invoice. It took minutes once we were able to communicate. A great, clean room in a perfect location, but when the fully automated system glitches, getting help can be difficult and frustrating. A bit more human support would make this place a true gem.

The location worked really well for a short stay, with restaurants, cafes, and a money exchange nearby, plus parking about 1 km away. We stayed just one night mostly to sleep, and the place was ideal for that. Check-in is self-service after 6 pm. There’s no elevator, so you have to take your luggage up the stairs, though I knew that beforehand.

Marie deserves a thank you for the lovely stay and such good service. Communication was just as good. The place is right on the Main Street, which is convenient, but it was still very quiet.

The room turned out even nicer than the online pictures, which was a pleasant surprise. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable enough, and the price made the quality especially worthwhile. This is one of the hostels in town, but the owner may be the most helpful one around. He pointed us toward sightseeing spots and the best restaurant in the city.
