The hotel felt like a fairy tale as soon as we walked in, with its beautiful, cozy interior, distinctive craftsmanship, and authentic atmosphere. The hostess was wonderful, and we didn’t want to leave. I’ve visited Krumlov many times, but staying here led me to streets and places I hadn’t found before. In the morning, you can walk along a picturesque lane to Mouse Hole, the park, the bridge with its amazing view, and the mill, places many tourists miss when they come into town from the other side. Egon Shile's house and the Synagogue are across the river, opposite the hotel. There are shops nearby too, and I even took a morning dip in the river. The hotel is well located and has parking. This was our favorite place to stay during our half-month trip. It was lovely, and everywhere was so clean. The man who owns it was polite and helpful, and the woman owner greeted us warmly with big smiles, even though she doesn’t understand much English. The pension is an easy walk from the old town square, about 10-15 minutes. We were really impressed and would recommend staying here.

You may not be able to speak English or German with the hosts, but their warmth and hospitality say plenty. Sometimes it’s nice to settle into that home-like feeling. One of the best hosts we’ve ever met. Thanks so much!

It was a perfect place to stay, really cozy and clean, even for a solo traveler. The walk back was a bit of a long alley, so it wasn’t the easiest place to return to at night, especially since the city seemed to switch off its lights early, around 7:00 pm. It was winter, though.

The owner was kind, and it was quiet with a wonderful view. Breakfast costs an extra 6 euros per person, and payment is cash only, though euros are accepted.
