It's clean and inexpensive, and they had rooms free when other hostels were full. The walk into town is a bit long, but pleasant, and there's a handy supermarket nearby. There's also a bar around the corner with cheap beer. The place is functional, though it seems more set up for Czech domestic tourists. The owner or manager spoke only Czech, which made check-in a little awkward. There isn't much shared space, so it's not ideal for meeting people.

The room was clean, but this was still a sad stay at a local hostel. The owners didn't seem to know how to manage the place or behave properly with guests, and it didn't meet even our basic requirements. You couldn't ask for anything because they didn't understand English or even German. I didn't even feel like taking photos. It seemed suitable only for people who could sleep on the street if they couldn't find shelter.

A very basic place, and far from the castle. The bathroom is shared, but it's quiet and clean, and fine for one night's stay.

We only stayed the night, and that was enough for us. The staff were nice, and even though we don't speak Czech, we had no trouble.

The price is very reasonable, and the staff were kind. It's a boarding house, so don't expect anything extravagant, but the location is fairly close to the city.
