There’s free parking right at the building, and it’s the best hotel in the centre of Cheb if you like staying in a hotel. It isn’t perfect, though. The restaurant isn’t the best, and Papirna is another option you could try.

We stayed four days in room 12, and it was lovely: really spacious, with a sofa. The hotel is in the heart of the old town, which is a lovely place to visit. I’d highly recommend it and will be back soon.

The rooms and breakfast are decent, and the staff members are nice people. There’s no AC, though, and the towels are tiny. I raised the rating from 1 star to 2 because of what happened on our last day. The front desk employee didn’t speak English at all, and a misunderstanding about payment ended with me locked in the hotel at 6 am and being forced to pay. The evening before, I asked him to speak with Yana, the lady, or the owner, who did speak English, but he refused. English is an important language, and front desk staff should speak it or be able to reach someone by phone to prevent major discomfort for both guests and the hotel. Without the English issue, I would have given a higher rating.

The rooms are clean but basic, so don’t expect Hilton. It’s right in the city centre, close to pubs and restaurants, and there’s a small parking area.
