Hotel Bobr

There’s free parking, and the reception staff were friendly, though the desk is only open until 7 pm. We found the room pretty ordinary, not as nice as the photos, and I think we were in the older building. The bathroom was fine and it was useful to have a fridge. Breakfast had enough choices for everyone, I think. We didn’t try the restaurant in the evening. It’s a simple hotel, but it was okay.

The cooks came out of the kitchen during breakfast and helped themselves to food meant for guests. Those little details give the hotel a bad image, and nobody seemed to pay attention to it. Breakfast was decent during the week, but a bit limited on weekends. The rooms are small, the TV channel selection is poor, and there’s no room service on weekends.

After a long day at work, I got to the hotel expecting to go straight to my room. I’d already paid and had a reservation, but reception was closed. I called the number on the sign three times and nobody picked up. On the fourth try, a woman answered and spoke to me very rudely. She said I should have arrived before 21:00, that she wouldn’t let me into the room, and that she had no room for me. She claimed everyone had been given that information, but I hadn’t received any. They took my money, left out important arrival details, then told me I couldn’t stay that night. I was polite and only trying to find out how to get into my reserved room, but the way she spoke to me was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Really good Wi-Fi, a good price, and breakfast included. I slept very well here.
