There are plenty of trip options nearby, and my friend and I were very happy with our stay. The guesthouse suits people looking for peace. Our room was clean, breakfast was hearty, and the owner was very pleasant and helpful.

I have to leave one star to be able to comment, but I do not recommend this place. I had reserved a room, and from the first email the owner communicated with me in German. Check-in was only until 7 pm. When booking, I said I'd arrive late, by 8 pm, and confirmed that time again by email. I also said I'd try to get there by 7, but might be late because I was driving 230 km. I arrived at 7:20 pm and nobody was there. One of the guests told me the owners had already left after waiting a few minutes. They had my phone number and could have called to ask what was happening, but they didn't. I ended up with nowhere to stay.

The staff are strange, and the place feels almost like a military camp. Everyone has to be in their room by 10 PM and stay silent. There are alarms and video surveillance everywhere, so your every move is monitored. I don't recommend it.
