The building is older, and some parts could use attention, but our room was spacious and clean. The bed, made of two singles pushed together, was comfortable. There was a desk, safe, and pod coffee maker, and the heating was welcome on cold nights. Hotel Mala is on a quiet, pleasant street, about a 10-minute walk from Charles Bridge. They let us check in early, and the reception staff were consistently polite and friendly. There’s a lift for disabled access. Breakfast was basic but had what you need: coffee, tea, juices, pastries, some fruit, and cooked food. The shower was new, but fixed at one height and couldn’t be adjusted. If you turned up the pressure, water went everywhere. For a reasonably priced Prague hotel with breakfast included, I’d recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were nice in other respects. The bed and pillows were soft. Breakfast was just okay. It’s odd that the reservation says “with airconditioning” when they won’t let you use it, probably because they prefer sleeping warm. This hotel makes sense at a good price if cleanliness is your main priority. The cleaning staff’s dedication is carrying the place, and I hope they know that.

The location was very central, though the area itself was quiet. Our freshly renovated double room on the main floor was so tight that there was barely room to open a large suitcase. It felt more like a single room. The room was clean, just very small. We tried breakfast once during our stay and agreed that once was enough. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.

A cozy, clean place, with really helpful and attentive staff. The trams are easy to get to, and most sightseeing spots are within walking distance. The location worked perfectly for us.
