The rooms were comfortable and clean, though pretty basic. I really liked the kitchenette with its kettle and mini fridge. It takes a while to get a response from the service contact.

The little studio had a balcony and was great value. It came with all the kitchen bits, even a corkscrew and scissors, and I'd happily stay again. The lift wasn't working while we were on the sixth floor, though that was clearly outside management's control. There was just one English TV channel, France Today. Getting into central Prague took about a 20 minute walk, and tram, bus and metro stops were all just a few minutes away.

The location worked well for our sporting event, and Mila made getting there by public transport easy to figure out. Her directions from T1 were to take Bus 100 to Zilinc metro station, then line B to Florenc. For the two of us, that cost £3.00 (GBP), avoiding an expensive taxi. Florenc station is about a two minute walk from the apartments, and the entry instructions were clear, so check-in was very straightforward. We had a compact, clean apartment on the sixth floor with a balcony and a lift. It had everything we needed: microwave, single hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, dishes, cutlery, utensils and cleaning supplies. There was no oven, which was fine. There wasn't an iron or ironing board either, but Mila brought one after I asked. The bathroom was small but nicely finished, with complimentary towels and toiletries. The shower stayed contained, had adjustable temperature and good pressure. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Wi-Fi was excellent, with plenty of outlets for our devices. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the world go by. Two supermarkets, Billa and Albert, are close to Florenc station. Albert had a better general food selection. There's also an Italian restaurant right next door. It was my first trip to Prague, and being near the Hilton mattered more than staying by the tourist sights. Those attractions are about a 20 minute walk away, though public transport makes it quicker to get around. We stayed four nights for €288, or £250, which was excellent value. We'd definitely book here again on another Prague visit.

The managers made it easy and flexible to change our dates so we could extend our stay in the same room. Getting into the room is a simple system, and it's in the heart of Prague. There are kitchen appliances and the apartments have the basic things you need. Good luck!
