3D Apartments

The room was nice and the location convenient, but the gym noise was unbearable. There was loud thumping techno and an instructor shouting from 7am until 10pm. Reception switched it off for about ten minutes when I asked, then basically said we had to put up with it. Avoid this place if you want a quiet stay.

We booked through Qantas and arrived to find there was no reception. A security guard gave us keys, but they didn't work; eventually we got just one working key. There was no access to the pool or gym, since those belong to a separate business in the building, and both were closed on December 25 and 26, the two days we were staying. Nothing in the room explained any of this. I was bitterly disappointed and frustrated. Guests should have been told about the closures and where to collect keys instead of being left to figure everything out.

The apartment was very clean and quiet, and Albert supermarket downstairs was handy, open every day until 9pm. Křižíkova station was only two minutes away. Just be aware that losing the apartment's card key means a 100 kr charge.

Reception were great, even accepting a Tesco's delivery for me and repeatedly replacing my key cards when I locked myself out. The serviced apartment in Karlín had all the modern conveniences. I asked ahead for a washing machine and microwave, and both were provided. The location is excellent too, just a short walk from the metro.
