We spent three days here for our 25th anniversary and already know that next time we'll stay at least a week. The meals were all delicious and satisfying, though the v Polich restaurant is hard to describe. I'm well traveled and enjoy all kinds of food, but I'd never tasted anything quite like it. Goose was in season, so I tried it for the first time: rich, tender meat with red cabbage and a kind of dumpling, and every bite was better than the last. The village paths linking to the next village were a welcome break from busy Prague. Getting to the city center was easy, about a 15-minute Uber ride, while we still got to stay somewhere quiet and rural. Our room felt cozy and looked out over the village and farms. The place is a sturdy old former monastery in a small Bohemian village. Opening the heavy wooden door, we were met by the warmth of a wood fire and the smell of slow-cooked meat and herbs. Heaven. The manager and staff were busy with dinner service but still made us feel welcome.

We booked dinner, and the typical Czech food was delicious. The server was friendly and professional, and the kitchen even put together a breakfast to go since we had to leave very early for the airport. After a week touring the Czech Republic in April 2026, we had an early flight from PRG and didn't want an airport hotel. This lovely B&B worked out well. The rooms were cozy, each decorated differently, and the beds were comfortable. The awkward part was our room had nowhere for luggage except the floor or bed.

Such a charming, romantic place for a weekend with your wife or girlfriend. The room was lovely and felt really authentic, and breakfast was delicious. It seems to be an old farm, I guess.

We only stayed one night before having to rush off to the airport, which was a pity. The place feels beautiful and authentic, with vintage country-style rooms that are arranged so nicely. The restaurant has interesting options, both traditional and more international, and the food was great. We'll be back!
