We stayed for three nights because of a family commitment nearby. It was warm, dry, and clean, and the shower had good hot water. The balcony door also had an insect screen. But the place had no charm at all, and it wasn't cheap. The gated entrance, dusty yard, and exposed breeze blocks gave it a prison-like feel, while the room reminded me of military barracks. There was a strange amount of bare chipboard everywhere. The mattresses were very worn, and the pillows felt almost empty. Breakfast cost extra; we didn't try it, though it looked okay. Wi-Fi was terrible in our room, neither of the TVs worked, and the mini fridge was very noisy. I hadn't realized Czech expectations for accommodation were so low until we stayed here.

We really liked this place as a family. It was good value, with a peaceful, clean room for four, a little kitchenette, and a tidy toilet and shower with towels. Parking was easy, and the place is right across from the castle park. We highly recommend it.

It's a quiet spot and a good base for trips, including bike rides. The rooms were clean, tidy, and equipped well enough. There was bike storage, and parking right outside the room. It worked well for a larger group too.

The staff were helpful and cheerful, and the food, prices, and service were all great. We arranged catering here for a school in the countryside, and the owners were accommodating about everything. They even gave the children privacy in the lounge and looked after them especially well. Highly recommended. We'll definitely return, the kindergarten group and teacher from Jihlava.
