The service was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I hadn't stayed there myself, but I booked rooms for nine relatives. After the receptionist showed me around, we agreed that they would pay when checking out. The afternoon before their stay, the same person tried to make them pay upfront before she would let them in. When I got there, she talked around the issue and flat-out denied that this had happened. She then scolded me for not spelling out that it was eight adults and one child, rather than nine people.

The receptionist spoke English pretty well, though at the restaurant there was only one person who spoke it. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were standard, with no minibar. It's basic, nothing fancy.

I only stopped by the restaurant, which has been nicely fitted out in a former horse house. The food was tasty, and I'd happily visit again.

It's a good place to stay with small children, with friendly staff and convenient parking. There's also an excellent restaurant attached to the pension.

The menu is on the small side, but the food was delicious and good value. The waiters were friendly, and there's a great playground for little kids.
