The bed was perfect, and I slept really well in this romantic, peaceful spot. The road nearby doesn’t get much traffic, and the price for the comfort and quality is excellent. A few practical things to know: reception isn’t open all the time, though the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I was on the second floor, where the wooden floor creaked a bit. At breakfast, ask for something different if you don’t want the school-style table setting. There also isn’t a suitable table or desk in the room for using a laptop.

Nice service. It’s basic, but cheap, so well worth it.

We come back regularly, and room number 2 is great. The rooms are clean and airy, bathrooms included. The beds and furniture are good quality for this category. Breakfast is satisfactory, and if you ask the staff for scrambled eggs, they’ll make them. The one downside is the single-ply toilet paper, which tears if you so much as look at it. Looking forward to our next stay.

There’s no restaurant in the village, but the next town is five minutes away by bus. For getting around elsewhere, you’ll need a car. If you’re driving toward Pilsen, I recommend the parking lot in Bory. There’s a bus stop right outside the guesthouse, and a grocery store across the street that’s open on both Saturday and Sunday. We had a very spacious four-bed room with a small fridge. The house is nice, the rooms are clean, and check-in over the phone went smoothly. Some things could use an update, like the faded carpet and cracked bathroom floor, but the equipment is fine for this kind of accommodation. Breakfast was nice and easy to choose from, though I’d add some fruit. Saturday morning felt a bit run down, but everything was fine on Sunday. We didn’t try the wellness facilities, so I can’t rate them.
