The staff were very friendly, but the stay itself was dreary and we wouldn't come back. We booked late and got the state appartment. After we found two dried patches of vomit, possibly from a dog or small child, we were moved to a smaller room that also had hair and bits on the floor. Parking was steep, and the late arrival fee was sprung on us at the very end. We also felt duped when we saw online that the prices we'd paid were double.

Mrs. Helga is an amazing owner who looks after guests like close friends. The hotel is cozy and very clean, right in the center of the spa and just a short walk from the colonnade. For a peaceful spa break, I can highly recommend staying here.

Disgusting and horrible. The rooms and service were terrible, and the owners or managers came across as arrogant and conceited. It felt like they only cared about taking our money and offered nothing back. I imagine this is what a gulag was like.

The host was friendly, but we left after two nights instead of the six we'd booked because of the conditions, and there was no goodwill on the cost. We were charged the full amount for all six days, and the hotel had charged the credit card without permission. The bed had very hard old three-part mattresses. Our room was dirty, with cobwebs on the ceiling, hair in the bathroom, and plaster coming off. The bathroom was so small I couldn't shave in front of the mirror. Towels smelled musty, the balcony was dirty, and the outdoor area was neglected, with plaster and bird droppings on the terrace and entrance. Breakfast was mediocre, with no boiled egg and pre-packaged sausage. There wasn't a public area such as a bar, terrace, or seating area. The hotel photos look like they show the place as it was ten years ago.
