A filthy house made for a horrible stay. I won't be back.

The rooms were new and clean, each with its own bathroom, and the shared kitchen and common room can host around 30 people. We chose half-board instead, prepared by the owner's mother. The garden was quiet and spacious, with swings, a slide, a big sandbox full of toys, and a pool that our children loved so much they didn't want to leave. There was plenty for them to do. One evening, newly arrived guests kept us up late, but the owner sorted it out and it didn't happen again. The rest of our holiday was completely peaceful. My husband also liked the locked parking area and the parking arrangement, since we still had a space even when we arrived late and the guesthouse was full. Thanks to the owners for being kind, sharing trip tips, and providing excellent service. We had a wonderful week and would gladly come again. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

The photos don't show what the place is really like, and the garden pictured was occupied by the owner's family the whole time. It's also a long way from the center, with buses only running twice a day, so we had to take a taxi. We'd booked a two-bedroom apartment described as having a private bathroom and kitchen. What we got was a tiny, disgusting room with a shared bathroom and a shared “kitchen” that lacked dishes and only had a small stove, so we couldn't cook. The whole wooden house creaked everywhere. Nobody cleaned during our stay, and the trash wasn't taken out. The worst part was when the owner's husband came in, really burst into our room, and started shouting at us to wake up because we were making noise. I understand sound carries in a guesthouse, but he could have simply asked us to be quiet. The way he spoke to us was completely unacceptable. The owner doesn't seem to care about the guest-host relationship. He treated us like a rag. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

A few months after a good experience, I stayed here again on a business trip. The owners were pleasant, and the room and its amenities were perfectly clean. I'd definitely recommend it to families with children, and I'll be back with my own kids.
