Really good place and service!!!

I extended my stay for a second night, which says a lot, since I almost never write reviews. Mrs. Skočovská made it such a good experience, and taught me that the star rating of a place isn't what matters most. I was in the area for my first high school reunion in 52 years. Living almost a thousand kilometers away, I tried to book in Dvůr Králové three months ahead, but everything was already full. I'm quite particular about hotels, so I reluctantly booked the only option left in Lipnice u Dvora as a fallback. The owner was a lovely, capable woman. My room was small but clean, and the bathroom was better than those in Prague hotels costing three times as much. It was completely quiet at night until just before six, when the neighbor's rooster woke me. There were also plenty of amenities I didn't even use: cooking facilities downstairs, a shared room, and a huge fridge and freezer, all handy for a family trip. I'd never had to change shoes right outside a hotel's door before, but there were proper shoe racks and an oversized shoehorn for that too. If I return to Bohemia, Lipnice will be on my itinerary. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

The owner was wonderful, and the place is lovely and picturesque. We'd definitely stay here again, ideally bringing our bicycles next time.
