The restaurant and hotel’s best feature is its location near the central Šumava cross-country tourist trail, with amazing views on sunny days too. They have daily menus and the soups are always good. The 12° Pilsner Urquell is mediocre, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

The onions and dumplings were old, and the so-called “Deer Goulash” was made from beef. It’s a trashy place with a very rude matron. Please avoid.

For a fantastic winter holiday, I wanted somewhere a bit higher standard, and I strongly recommend hotel Hajenka. It’s the best place to sleep, eat, and enjoy wellness. You’re right next to the great cross-country ski lines, and waking up to the view from the room window is simply PRICELESS!!!
