Rezidence Zámeček - Boutique Hotel

The housekeeper was very friendly and gave us good ideas for trips and restaurants. Service and breakfast were both very good, and we had a comfortable two-night stay with nothing to complain about. It’s close to the forest and far enough from traffic that the nights were quiet, which I loved. We did have a few ladybug visitors, but that wasn’t a big deal. I’d definitely recommend it :)

We had a great time here. Those one-star ratings are from angry people who couldn’t visit the hotel without booking a room, not actual hotel guests. That’s totally normal. Dumb people!

Stunning place.

Breakfast was excellent, with strong coffee and pretty much anything you could want. They really do their best to please everyone. The accommodation itself is lovely, though it’s a little outside town, about a 10-minute walk through the park. That’s not a big problem, and the walk is nice after a big meal. Our room was in a separate building, and the condition was a letdown. The particleboard base under a sagging mattress was uncomfortable, my hip and back are starting to hurt, and the sofa bed felt like a plank. The kitchen floor was so uneven that you could almost fall into the fridge, basically like being drunk without the alcohol. There was no bathroom fan, so moisture spread into the bedroom and kitchen. You could see the effect: the foot of the double bed was warped and the laminate floor was swelling. The big rain shower head didn’t work properly because the water overflowed, the seal was missing, and the head was screwed on crooked, damaging the threads. In the dining area, the stucco added in the corners is coming loose and could fall on the next customer. Everything is showing its age and needs professional repairs from people who actually notice the problems. I get the impression they don’t care as long as it looks fixed. What a shame. 🤷🏻‍♀️🫣🙄
