Penzion restaurace U Racaku

The place was clean, and the waiters were kind. The portions were generous for the fair prices. I liked the food, though it wasn’t the best; that doesn’t mean it was bad.

Breakfast was a highlight for us: every day we got homemade eggs prepared a different way, and the prices were very reasonable. The owners were lovely and clearly took good care of everything. It’s a pretty spot, away from the bustle of Lipno but still close to everything. Our room was clean and decently spacious, with a little kitchenette containing a kettle, fridge, cutlery, plates, and mugs. The bathroom was small but did the job. You can pay in cash or by QR code. I’d happily recommend it.

The owners were nice, though I wasn’t keen on the beer in the restaurant. They probably don’t serve much of it, and I’m not sure they take proper care of the beer lines. Also, we had to come without our dog, since dogs aren’t accepted here. It’s right by the road, but there’s a nice swimming lake across from it. The rooms are fine for undemanding travelers. The bathroom and toilet are a tight fit, really only comfortable for slim people.
