The rooms were clean and simply, practically furnished, and the accommodation was affordable. There’s parking on the property, plus a garden seating area by the fireplace. We had several disappointments, though. The rooms we’d reserved were changed because the previous guests extended their stay, and we weren’t told beforehand. Roadworks in front of the guesthouse confused our navigation, and we would have appreciated an advance warning and directions to an alternate route. We were also told we could order breakfast on site, but then found out on arrival that we couldn’t. The shared areas shown in the photos were closed during our stay. There was a daily charge for keeping bikes in the garage, which seemed unusual and unprofessional. The website mentioned bike rental without giving a price. The bikes were outdated, yet the fee was comparable to a professional rental and didn’t match their quality. For families, adding some play equipment in the garden would make the stay more enjoyable for children.

The receptionist was lovely and happy to offer advice or help, and the lady also put out a very tasty breakfast buffet with different drinks and coffee. Parking is in a closed building at the guesthouse. We had a clean, well-kept room with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, TV, Wi-Fi, shower and toilet. It had everything we needed, and the guesthouse worked well for our family even during our two-night stay. The setting is pleasant, though a highway viaduct is being built nearby, so the road there is currently less direct. That’s not the guesthouse’s fault, and the detour is manageable. My one small drawback was the very hard mattress. It didn’t seem worn out, and my wife and son slept well, so that was just my personal experience. We came away with a really good impression and I’d definitely recommend the place.

We felt right at home here, and the big garden and seating area were lovely too. The rooms have a bit of a retro look, which we actually liked. Byka, the housekeeper, was friendly, kind and helpful. We especially appreciated the spacious parking area since we had a trailer behind the car. The fenced grounds and adjoining garden were great for our dog and child. Everything was beautiful and clean, and it’s clear they really care about keeping the place that way. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the lady at reception was lovely and helpful.
