After a day out hiking or biking, it was great to come back to this nice hotel by the square. Breakfast is optional, and if you ask the owner, you can use the little kitchen to prepare your own food.

Communication was difficult since nobody spoke English, German, or even Czech.

The quality was poor, the Wi-Fi was weak, and breakfast wasn't good.

The rooms were clean, the Wi-Fi was excellent, breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were especially helpful. We recommend the place. What bothered us was the noise from the square, where local teenagers and Roma residents stood late into the night, shouting at each other. The municipality of Horní Planá should find a way to keep order.
