The restaurant is a lovely, pleasant place, and lunch was excellent and very reasonably priced. The apprentices cook and serve the food. They only prepare one dish, so I appreciate that the menu is posted on the website and you can check whether it suits you before coming. We’ll definitely return 🙂
Our agreed one-night stay at the guesthouse didn’t happen. Instead, they sent us to a dreadful hostel in Horšov near the church.
The food is honest and a great deal, but come early because they’re often sold out by around 1pm. The apprentices serving you are doing their best. One thing for the gentleman at reception: please watch what you say and keep your opinions to yourself. Guests are the ones bringing money to the establishment, after all.
The restaurant closes at 3 pm. The room was otherwise clean, cozy, and warm, and the accommodation price was excellent. Breakfast costs 100 CZK, which feels like too much when there are four options and the whole menu costs 63 CZK.????? In my room, no. 6, the TV had only 7 programs, while the room next door had over 25.
I stayed there 4 years ago, in a 3-bed room. The dirt was unbelievable. The sheets and carpets were filthy, and the bathroom was even worse, with mud on the tiles. Horrible.
