Apartmány Adam

The hosts were so friendly and helpful that I'd gladly return and spend a week at Apartmany Adam, relaxing and exploring the region. Excellent place to stay!

We made good use of the heated ski boot rack, and having shared storage for skis or bikes plus parking for the whole stay was a real bonus. The owner was friendly and helpful over chat. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and has a beautiful view, with a pleasant shower. The mattress was quite firm, but I still slept well. The village and nearest bus stop are down the mountain, so getting back up with ski gear is a climb. Still, the ski resort is only a six-minute drive away and has a spacious area, so it wasn't much of an issue for us. A great base for a ski holiday, and congratulations to the maintenance staff for the meticulous cleaning.

The management sends an SMS on arrival day so you can call if anything comes up, which was reassuring. The apartment in this historic building is beautiful and very clean, with new equipment after the 2020 renovation. Everything worked properly, and the dishes were clean. They'd even thought of small things like spare bin bags and a floor cloth for spills. The shower is spacious, and the bed with its quality mattress was very comfortable. There's a children's playground and workout area nearby. For me, it was absolutely divine. The only amusing downside is the steep hill back up to the room :)

The family owners were especially lovely to communicate with, and Jáchymov has plenty of trip ideas, good restaurants and pastry shops close by. We liked r. Jáchym, just a two-minute walk away, and Vlčka was great too. The house is in a quiet part of town with a nice view, yet still close to the center. We stayed for a week, our second time in Jáchymov but first at Apartments Adam, and definitely not our last. The restored house is high quality, tasteful, and modern in a timeless way. Rooms are clean and very nicely equipped, with a fridge and kitchenette. There's an elevator, a footbridge from the elevated street above, parking right outside, and a self-service snack fridge downstairs, basically a mega minibar. Bike and ski storage are available, and you enter the building and apartment by chip or code, so there are no keys. They really thought about guest comfort, and it shows. I definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back.
