The rooms each have their own bathroom, but keep the layout in mind: one bedroom is always connected to another. This is a fairly spacious cottage with older-style equipment and layout, more rugged than luxurious. Heating can be an issue and potentially expensive in winter. Apart from the common room fireplace, the rooms rely on electric heaters. If you arrive to find the house unheated, it'll be running full blast on the first day and you may still feel cold.

We stayed for a week, and the cottage is about 700 m from the U Vodárny ski lift. The rooms were decently furnished, but the toilet and shower were cold. WiFi was down and the TV didn't work well, though we didn't use it anyway; we didn't try the sauna. The layout was a surprise: some rooms connect to each other, which the website doesn't mention, and that can be a problem for families who aren't related. The cottage was also unheated when we arrived. Direct heaters serve most of the house, while the common room has a large wood stove wedged right by the door. One child burned himself on it the first day, and the fireplace didn't work. Getting wood meant rushing outside. There was a kitchen and a kitchenette, both laid out illogically, and I couldn't see the two kitchens mentioned on the website. Overall, it's a fairly decent but spartan cottage where you can find anything you don't have at home. Don't rely on everything the website says.

We come to the cottage regularly with a group of friends and are very happy with it. Don't expect luxury, you're in the mountains. I appreciate the sauna, the nearby cross-country trails and pubs, the generous common room, and the easygoing owner.

Great location, and a large cottage that's been renovated recently. The bedrooms are nicely soundproofed from the living area, and there's a sauna, terrace and fireplace.
