The food was excellent, both in taste and presentation, and you could tell the cook knew his craft. I’d also like to thank Roman in particular. His professional, friendly manner showed how much he enjoys his work, and he made us feel valued rather than like just another table of guests. You can also buy the hotel’s own marmalade, made with natural ingredients and a lot of care. My wife and I came to unwind after our wedding, which had taken a lot out of us. We booked the Superior De Luxe room with private wellness, and on arrival the staff had left the Prosecco and fruit we’d ordered in the room. Check-in was quick, and the room was even nicer than in the pictures. The hotel and grounds were clean, and we especially liked having coffee on the lower terrace with its view of the Jizera Mountains. The wellness area is separate from the other rooms, with a Jacuzzi and sauna, and private wellness meant we had the space to ourselves. There’s a separate room for massages too. The surrounding nature is great for walks or a picnic in the meadow, where goats or the hotel’s friendly dog might keep you company. We also appreciated the quiet, adult-focused atmosphere. There were no children’s play areas, playgrounds, crying in the restaurant, or running in the corridors. That’s how a proper wellness stay should feel. I hope more hotels where you can really relax take this approach. We’ll definitely return.
