That relaxed, nostalgic feel is something I sometimes miss, with golden curtains and wine in the square, like being in a Švejk film. Jicin itself is charming and the hotel is inexpensive. P.S. We're without Cypisko.

The stench of garbage filled the entire apartment unit, and even after an hour airing it out, it still smelled so bad I felt like vomiting. The room was dirty and disgusting, the bed stained with bodily fluids, and the bathroom was in a terrible state. This is absolutely not a hotel. The worst, scariest accommodation experience I've had in 20 years. Owner, do something about those cleaners, because people won't come back and it'll catch up with you. AVOID THIS ACCOMMODATION!

A magnificent imperial spa, and a hotel that really breathes the atmosphere of the First Republic.

The reception staff barely looked up from their phones and seemed reluctant to help. We arrived to find the SPA already occupied, with no advance information about needing a reservation. The room smelled strongly of the toilet, and there was nothing to mask it. I also found dust under the bed. A terrible, almost frightening stay.
