I wouldn't recommend staying here. We couldn't use the pool that was included in the offer, and then had to pay extra for sheets(!). The owner was really rude and stole our phone. They wouldn't give it back until the police intervened.

It's a pleasant rustic place, equipped with everything you could want. All the way from the kitchen to the bedrooms, the equipment is faultless. There's plenty to do for adults, and especially for children. They have space to play and lots of indoor and outdoor options whatever the weather.

The cottage is beautiful and split into several separate apartments, with plenty of space. There’s lots of entertainment on the property for kids and adults alike. The only downside I found was the 150 CZK per person charge to rent bed linen.

We had a great stay. The rooms are beautiful and fully furnished, with a comfortable temperature, and the garden is lovely, with grilling and things for the kids to do. I think we'll come back next year on vacation 🤩 You can't hear the passing Regionova ČD train inside the house, even when it honks or whistles. There's an interesting book on the shelf by the coat rack in the hallway, with old photos and lots of information. Josefova dol itself is a peculiar village, with a feeling of "faded glory."
