The peace and the roomy upstairs rooms are the best parts of this guesthouse in the heart of our dearest mountains. Each room has a small kitchenette, though cooking isn’t allowed in the guesthouse. The owners live in the house, but guests use a separate entrance. They’re very nice and pleasant people. :)

The rooms are nice and well equipped, and the owner is very helpful. It’s a GREAT base for trips even if you don’t have a car.

A pleasant family-run guesthouse, with a toilet and shower in the room. There’s no cooking, but the kitchenette has standard equipment, including a microwave and kettle. Skiing around here is better suited to weaker or undemanding skiers. Restaurants are really scarce throughout Josefov mine, though the stay itself was pleasant.

The man looking after guests is helpful and easy to talk to. The nearest grocery store is about a 15-minute walk away, open daily from 7 am to 7 pm, weekends included. It has a large selection of goods, the kind you’d usually see in Vietnamese stores. The lift is about 10 minutes away. Its slope is for less demanding skiers, and the fares are cheap. There’s a nice pub right by the lift with good food at reasonable prices, plus ski equipment rental. The service we met everywhere was friendly. At the guesthouse, the rooms are spacious, warm, and comfortably furnished. The kitchenette has enough equipment for light cooking. The ski room and boot room are very warm, so shoes dry well.
