Penzion Ski

We stayed in apartment number 1. The retro furnishings still felt cozy, and the heating worked well overall. The smaller double room has a smaller radiator, so it was a bit colder there. For the price, I think the value is good.

One of the worst stays my family has had. There was no hot water, and the landlady hadn't even turned it on despite the bitter cold. My 2.5-year-old daughter came down with a high fever, as did my grandparents. I tried politely asking the "engineer" on the phone about compensation and got a stupid "haha" in response. The engineer seems to have a degree in fucking people. I wouldn't recommend this place even to my enemies. You'll freeze your ass off and won't even be able to rinse in warm water....

The rooms had retro furnishings and were clean and cozy, but we were terribly cold throughout our stay. One day there was no heating at all, and I don't even want to guess how cold it was when we slept, including our 3-year-old daughter. The next day, the lady turned the heat on for about an hour, then switched it right off. Nobody came by to ask if we needed anything. We left with lovely nature experiences, but mostly a deep chill. The landlady didn't even get to say goodbye when we left. It's a shame, because Karlova Studánka itself is great.

The location is very good, and for the price the accommodation felt standard. Everything went as expected, without any problems we needed to sort out, and the owner was helpful. A good fit for guests who don't ask for much.
