Apartments Menuet

Modern furniture and a fantastic view made these apartments lovely.

Clean and pleasant, with a very good standard and a great location.

We went as a family and would definitely choose this apartment again if we return. It was comfortable, fully equipped, and just as described on the website. Shops and restaurants are close by, and everything is within walking distance. The shared washer and dryer were handy for traveling. Everything was perfect. For parking, they take you to a spot outside the city center.

The apartment was modern, clean, and very nice, and its location is excellent. But check-in was a really bad experience. We’d agreed that I would call 30 minutes before arrival, yet the woman called me several times while I was driving, which was annoying. The address we’d been given for parking, supposedly a seven-minute walk away, turned out to be just a meeting point. A grumpy employee led us down a dark alley to where the car was meant to be parked in the street, in front of a driveway, a 15-minute walk from the apartment. He insisted that we two women get into his car so he could drive us there. I refused, he got angry, and we stood our ground. I drove to the apartment and found a parking space myself. It was easy to find, free, legal, and only five minutes away. He then wanted us to take the elevator to the apartment, but we said we’d rather use the stairs. That seemed to be the last straw. He insulted us, saying, “that's not normal,” because I wanted secure parking and preferred the stairs. Sorry, but that’s totally normal. He also called the woman, and we understand a little of the language. It wasn’t nice to hear. Apparently, there was no key for the emergency exit on the stairs. Is that even allowed? You can’t use an elevator during a power outage or fire, can you? His unfriendly, unempathetic manner made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We eventually got our way, but I was very close to booking another hotel. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in tourism. Vacationers should feel safe and secure. I hope they improve their honest communication and staff training so this doesn’t happen again. At the very least, I would have refused the parking option outright.
