They kept our whole deposit, 1000kc for one night, because we left around half an hour after 9am. The owner’s rules are ridiculous, and even a small mistake can cost you the deposit. It feels like the place surprises you with a deposit and then finds a reason to take it. The customer service was awful, and the person in charge was rude and uncooperative. Staff recorded us in the hostel corridors without our consent, and guests are expected to clean their room before leaving. We also had trouble after the trip because they refused to correct the invoice details. They kept messaging us in Czech and were disrespectful by email. This stay was a nerve-racking disappointment.

The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The owner made us feel welcome and was friendly. It’s in a great spot for visiting nearby attractions. A splendid place to stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Pretty good all around. The one letdown was the slow Wi-Fi.
