Hotel Georgy House

The building is lovely, and our spacious royal room had a sense of history and a noble past. There's a lot of potential here, but the place feels like a shell of what it once was. The fourth star feels like charity. A number of services seemed poorly maintained: the jacuzzi didn't work, the pool was cold for autumn, breakfast was subpar, there were no chargers by the bed, some services were confusing to use, and Wi-Fi didn't reach my room. Staff could also be borderline rude. It's a nice place if you're after historical character, but bring your bags if you expect a certain standard of service.

The hotel itself is really nice, with a great location and rooms that are clean and very spacious. Still, at a four-star level, I expected a minibar and complimentary water, and neither was provided. Breakfast was what kept me from giving five stars. The choice was poor: only two kinds of coffee and cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers as the only vegetables, and dispenser juice that tasted like it hadn't been refilled with powder. There were two toasters, but one was broken.

The facilities were great, including the spa and pool, and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast was good too. It's in a great location and is child- and dog-friendly. Parking was limited even though I requested it when booking. I'd definitely recommend it.

There's a nice garden and park outside, plus a terrace. The rooms are very spacious and have a bar and fridge. The complex includes several buildings, a spa, pool, bowling, and a few restaurants, with various spa and massage treatments available. It was good overall, though a little old and somewhat pricey.
