Hotel Malta is hard to beat for the price. The rooms are huge, clean, and well maintained, with a modern, minimal feel and a large, well-equipped bathroom. It was one of the best values I found on my recent two-month trip around central/eastern Europe. The location is excellent, near the end of the pedestrian zone and a great starting point for a walking tour of that part of town. There are a few parking spaces right out front reserved for guests. The staff are friendly and accommodating when they’re around, though they aren’t always there and not through the night. The internet is painfully slow, and breakfast is at the immediately neighbouring Hotel Ruze, which I assume is a shared property. I’d definitely stay again. It’s tremendous value for what you get.

The room was very big, but there was no parking. People smoked in the hallways, and covid protocols weren’t respected. I expected more from a 4 star hotel.
