Luxury Spa Hotel Olympic Palace

The location made exploring easy, with shops and the hot springs only a short walk away. The staff were warm and attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel valued. From the lovely accommodation to the service, every detail made our stay unforgettable. It was a unique five-star luxury experience from start to finish, and we can't recommend it enough.

We picked this hotel for our first trip to Karlovy Vary and it turned out to be a great fit. It’s tucked beside a forest park, so it’s quiet, but the colonnades and other city sights are close. The elevator is only two blocks away, which helps with the steep hills. Our room was roomy and comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed, and cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the lounge was a nice place to spend the evening. We also enjoyed the spa, where treatments could be booked for a convenient time, and wellness access was free. The staff were warm, spoke several languages including Russian, and responded quickly to requests. Valet parking ran smoothly, too. For this level of hotel, the price felt very reasonable. Highly recommended.

The staff at Olympic Palace made a strong impression: they were welcoming, professional, and very friendly. We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the service was consistently good. The spa didn’t quite live up to our expectations because one sauna was out of order and the others were rather small. Still, the facilities were usable and well maintained. We had a very good stay, and I recommend the hotel for its service and staff.

The people are what made Olympic Palace so memorable for us. Everyone was cheerful and kind, and we felt looked after rather than treated like customers. English was spoken throughout, which made everything easy, and one staff member even spoke Spanish. A special thank you to Jitka, who was wonderful with us. She helped arrange a thoughtful birthday surprise for my boyfriend after our first emails, welcomed us warmly, showed us around, offered drinks and a little dessert, and later left prosecco in our room. Those small touches meant a lot, and we won’t forget her kindness. We came hoping to unwind after a busy stretch, and left feeling calm, happy, and recharged. It was honestly hard to go. The spa was peaceful and beautifully kept, with sensory showers, water jets, and relaxation areas that helped us switch off. The treatments were relaxing and carefully done, and the place felt like a wellness retreat rather than a clinical spa. The food was another highlight. Meals were fresh, varied, tasty, and nicely presented, and the dining room felt both elegant and cozy. The staff there were attentive and seemed to enjoy caring for guests. The whole hotel was spotless and fresh each day. After housekeeping, our room felt new again, and the hotel always looked polished and smelled lovely. It was a special stay, and we’ll come back for the spa, the luxury, and the feeling of the place.
