Ontario Hotel Garni

We had beautiful rooms looking over the old part of Karlovy Vary, and the location was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this outstanding hotel.

Karlovy Vary is a pleasant little town, and this was my first visit. HOTEL ONTARIO gave us a terrible experience. We booked a hotel expecting professional service, not an apartment, but the service was far from professional. They even charged us for late check-in. I’d heard of fees for checking in early, but that “innovation” at an old, worn-out hotel is too much. I strongly do not recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and the location was excellent for the historic center. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. We had a great place to park our motorbike, and the room had tea and coffee facilities.

The helpful, friendly staff and reserved parking made our stay easy. The building is historic and recently redecorated, with an amazing view over the city center. Our room was very large, with a little living area, sofa, armchairs, and coffee table. The furniture was more elaborate than I like, but that fits a historic place. There was an electric kettle and cups for making tea in the room, which I appreciated, along with the generous bath linens and bathrobes. A very nice experience!
