Romantic Mlyn

We held a wedding for 37 people here, and it was amazing. The food was really tasty, and the island by the river was a beautiful setting for the ceremony and celebration. The staff were attentive, and the room was comfortable and stylish. Huge thanks to everyone working there for making our wedding day so cool!

We were driving out of Karlštejn toward Prague when we spotted this hotel across the Berounka river, turned around, and stopped in. We were hungry, so we ordered a big lunch and sat outside on the huge wooden terrace. Our dog was welcome too. The meal was good, the beer was cold, and the prices were good, as they usually are in the Czech Republic. From the terrace there’s a lovely view of the river and the lawn in front of the restaurant. It made us feel really rich! Parking was free, and this place is definitely worth a visit.

The food is amazing, and the hotel itself is picturesque, with beautiful views and an easy walk into town. Just be aware that local fly fishers sometimes show up in their speedos in your photos.

We had 93 guests at our wedding here, and the event was fantastic. The staff took great care of us, especially Mr. František, who kept everything running smoothly through the evening and looked after what we needed. He was kind, efficient, and very pleasant, and nothing seemed to be a problem. Mr. Bautkin, the hotel manager, was friendly, helpful, and insightful while we organized the wedding. The island beside the hotel is wonderfully picturesque and reachable by a little bridge. The rooms are large and comfortable, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is delightful. The weather turned out perfectly, and we hope to come back for our anniversary. It was a great experience and good value, with a good balance of quality and price.
