Emma Hostel

The old building lets you hear people moving around in other rooms as if they’re right beside you, and there’s no elevator, so hauling heavy bags up to the third floor is a workout. Still, it’s a cozy hostel with the facilities you need for a comfortable weekend. The location is great, near the center, tram stops, shops, and cafes, and for the price it’s a great place to spend a few days in Prague.

The location worked really well, with public transport close by and Karl's bridge about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms weren’t very spacious, but that was fine since we only slept there, and they were very clean. The shared kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were clean too. The receptionist was very nice and came in extra early to let us in because our bus arrived at 6am.

It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center of Prague, and the shared bathroom, toilets, and kitchen were always clean and had paper towels. Our rooms were spacious and had what we needed for a good night’s sleep. The staff were very kind: when our train was delayed, they messaged us, which was a big help because I couldn’t get online at the time. Definitely recommend this place!

A mini market across the street is open 24/7, and the hostel is very central. Reception was really helpful, and the stay was great overall. The rooms were small but very clean. Showers are shared by the floor, so you may have to wait in the morning, though they were clean. Our toilets were less so, mostly because of the people sharing the floor rather than the staff.
