The room itself was spacious enough for two, with two fairly comfortable single beds and extra pillows. The bathroom was roomy too, though there were no branded toiletries. But the noise made it hard to rest: we heard people in their rooms and in the hallway very clearly, and the place was not soundproof at all. Light sleepers will have trouble here. Breakfast was downstairs in a windowless basement that felt gloomy. The selection was basic, and the food looked old and stale, even the packaged items seemed low quality. There wasn't a coffee machine. We also had to enter our card details again on the hotel's online portal after booking through Expedia, since the hotel hadn't charged the card. That was needed to pay and get PIN codes for the hotel and room. We stayed one night in room 17 and didn't use the TV, so I can't say what channels it had. For Kladno, the price felt high for the low quality, and we wouldn't recommend it.

I was back here in July. The rooms were nice and the service was good. I was on my own and had been at a nearby clinic; I still wasn't well enough to drive back to Germany, so I needed one more night. They arranged the extension quickly and helped me a lot.

There's a main bus stop right across the street, and restaurants, shops, and nightlife are all within walking distance. Prague is close enough for a day trip, while this spot is far enough away to take a break from it. A great base for getting a feel for the Czech Republic.

The bed was nice and the shower was good, so the stay was OK apart from a couple of frustrating things. The WiFi was among the slowest I've used. In the room, sending a WhatsApp message could take as long as five seconds, and the lobby wasn't much better. I also used the laundry service. The receptionist estimated about 300 czk, though she said she thought it might be less and that they needed to weigh it. The bill came to 575 czk, nearly twice that already expensive estimate. They then explained that prices are set by item, such as shirts, trousers, and socks. It's their job to check the price instead of guessing, and the laundry was still a bit damp, so I had to hang it up in my room to dry.

The staff are really nice, and I love the breakfast. The location works perfectly for us, close to work and the center. I love the swag too, and I'm looking forward to coming back.
