The room was quite large and could have been great, but it should have been heated before I arrived. It’s on a VERY quiet street in Kolín. I wouldn’t go back, and would give it 2.5 stars if that were an option.

I had complete privacy, and the hostess was kind, helpful, and kept everything clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

I was left without a place to stay, 400 km from home, after arriving at this guesthouse. I’d arranged the accommodation by email six months ahead, and the lady had confirmed my reservation. When I got there, she told me by phone she had no room for me and wouldn’t even come out of the guesthouse, despite being there. I’ve never experienced behavior like that. Other guests I spoke with said it can be quite difficult dealing with them too. I absolutely do not recommend booking here.

The rooms have older furnishings, though the bed was good. Breakfast was ham, cheese, egg, pastries, and tea. It’s in a fairly quiet part of town and seems better suited to guests with simple needs.

The owner was very pleasant to deal with. It was a peaceful, clean overnight stay with no problems, and it met my expectations for the price.
