We needed 18 rooms for my colleagues over a longer period, and Marek the Manager helped us from the start to make it work. He was even flexible about adding rooms for the weekend. The rooms are all nice and very clean. I’d definitely choose this Hotel again, and highly recommend it to anyone with high standards for service and customer friendliness.

I had booked two rooms for a business trip, and the booking was already confirmed. Then, one day before we were due to travel, the hotel cancelled because of overbooking and put the rooms back on the market at double the price. They made no effort to find us somewhere else and showed no regret. They just started an automated process that left me trying to find somewhere to stay while on the road. Luckily, I found new accommodation nearby. Not nice at all. That's a NO GO!

The hotel is completely quiet and peaceful, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast was tasty and the people were nice. Everything is simple and without any exaggeration. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the city center.

The service from the main guy, whose name I didn’t catch, was superb, and he’s a great chef. If you’re lucky, you might get to try the “BBQ Special” beef brisket. I’ve never had better. The Standard Room was great too, with a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, safe and large TV. There was only 1 English-language TV channel, though. It’d be nice if Netflix and Amazon apps were available so guests could sign in and watch in their own language. Maybe the menu could also have more starter choices. If I’m working in this area again, this hotel would be my first choice.

Breakfast starts at 6:30 and has a good variety, and the restaurant food is really tasty. The staff are always friendly, courteous and ready to help. Rooms are very clean, quiet and up to date. Galatea and its staff deserve 5 stars, and I can fully recommend the place.
