Penzion Slunecnice

Our wedding day at Slunečnice turned out even better than we’d pictured. We could just enjoy it, knowing the team had everything in hand, and they looked after us warmly throughout our stay. From our first contact, the staff were kind and helpful, including when we added last-minute requests. The grounds gave us a beautiful setting for the ceremony and evening celebration. There are different places to settle into, whether you want a drink on the terrace at sunset or a piece of wedding cake by the cooling pond. Since we both love nature, the open space and peaceful surroundings suited us perfectly. The food was a big hit with our guests, who couldn’t stop praising it. We’re grateful to the whole team at Slunečnice for helping make the day feel relaxed and special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Mr. and Mrs. Herůdek ❤️

It’s a peaceful place in a nice setting, and the kitchen is great. Most rooms have been renovated, though some don’t have a toilet and shower in the room. There’s a smaller hall as well as a tent, so it works well for bigger celebrations. I also liked that the guesthouse tries to pay attention to sustainability.

We held a yoga weekend here, and the wellness setup was a treat: a heated tub and sauna looking out onto nature. The grounds are so well kept, with trimmed grass and a lovely path around the pond. You can stretch out on a deck chair with a coffee and just take in all the greenery. Penzion Slunečnice is in a really quiet spot, still an easy drive from Brno/Blansko. My friends and I had everything we needed for yoga. The chef Vojta made us excellent vegetarian food that gave us plenty of inspiration. Láďa and Vojta looked after us all weekend, and nothing was missing. We were completely happy and already looking forward to next year :-).

We had about 110 people at our wedding, and Slunečnica worked really well for a bigger group. There’s plenty of open space in a quiet natural setting, and children had room to have fun. We especially appreciated the clean rooms, the helpful staff and catering, and having the option for friends to sleep in the gym. We also liked being able to choose from several spots for the triumphal arch. The tent where we held the reception worked perfectly for the evening entertainment, even when rain came later. Night silence was postponed until 12 am, which we were very glad about. We were really satisfied with the venue and the staff. If you’re after a calm, pleasant place in nature, don’t hesitate :)
