Restaurace a Penzion Lešná

There’s a mix of Czech classics and modern cooking at Lešná, with a little Italian influence too. The food was nicely presented and well balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The setting is beautiful and the service pleasant, which made it a really enjoyable meal. Kids can find familiar favorites as well, including fried cheese with fries.

We stopped here for lunch during a zoo visit, my son and I. The soup was good, but the main course was disappointing: we ordered different dishes and still got the same sauce, and both pieces of meat were burnt. I was also frustrated that all ten daily menu options, supposedly available until 1:30 p.m., had already run out by 12:30. Then about three guests who arrived after us were served from that menu. I left disappointed.

Even with the restaurant completely full, everything ran smoothly during our visit today. My pork steak was juicy and really good, and the sweet-and-sour red cabbage added a nice flavor that worked perfectly with the side. The reactions around the table suggested the other dishes were tasty too. Friendly service, and we all left very satisfied. Thank you.

It was packed, balcony included, even though it was February, but the staff looked after us really well and kept checking that we had everything and were happy. The food was delicious. I loved the kulajda, though I’d make the portion a bit bigger. That left room for the chicken steak, which was luxurious and so tender it practically melted. Yummy, yummy, yummy.
