The apartment itself is lovely, comfortable, and well equipped, with a great spot right beside the ski slope. I’d recommend it for those reasons. But the walls are paper thin, and we had very noisy neighbors on both sides. Hot water was another real problem: after 5:00 PM through the night, there wasn’t even lukewarm water for a shower. You had to go early in the morning if you wanted a hot one, so I’m taking off a star.

We really enjoyed our time here, and thanks for that 😊 The accommodation was clean and lovely, right by the ski slope in the center of Kvilda. The rooms were roomy, the beds comfortable, and the kitchenette had everything we needed.

A spacious apartment and a friendly, helpful owner made this a very good place to stay. It’s also a great base for hiking or skiing.

We appreciated the roomy parking lot and that dogs are allowed, though the 100 CZK/night fee applies even for a small dog when no extra cleaning or service is needed. The apartment was very clean and in a nice location. The kitchen basics were enough for simple meals, but it had no wine or beer opener and not even a dishcloth, just a washcloth that didn’t clean the sink or table well. We also missed storage beside the bed in the bedroom-kitchen area. The windowless bathroom had no ventilation installed, and its door closes on its own. With four adults that meant extra humidity or smells. It would be nice if the owner cleared the frost left in the freezer from previous guests now and then. I’m taking off a star for these little things.
