We had the garlic pasta and Greek salad. Both were fresh and tasty, though nothing special. It was nice to get something fresh, and our waiter was friendly and spoke English.

The restaurant gives good service and good food. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the places where The King of the Bohemian Forest was filmed.

The service was pleasant, but the menu put me off. Lunch had around ten dishes and they were all very expensive. 170 CZK for fried chicken with fries and tartare? That’s a lot. I went looking for another restaurant because of the prices, so I can’t comment on the food.

What bothered me most about our family visit, and other guests too, was the writing on a painting inside the restaurant. It said something along the lines of, "you rainbow people do not understand nature, pull yourself together and go home". I asked the staff if they could explain it, but they said they didn’t understand it either, and that the owner wanted the painting displayed there. That says a lot about the restaurant. The food was average, with a high mountain surcharge, and the quality wasn’t very good.
